Man

A mountain does stand

A mountain

A man

Its roots run deep

The vastness of its depths

Its keep

Head in the clouds

Rising tall

Proud

Caves unexplored

Dark secrets stored

Where things are hidden

Entry forbidden

All seasons

Wrapped into one

An avalanche begun

From snowflake falls

A rocky edifice

No place to grip

The climber stumbles

He slips

Trees below

Shelter from snow

That comes from the peaks

Where dangers creep

Dred beasts roam

Most unknown

The watcher stays watching

No chance of stopping

Forward momentum

Unstoppable objects

Immovable forces

Converging courses

Destinies split

No chance

What to make of it

A mountain does stand

A mountain

A man
